Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, who married in September 2004 before Britney filed for divorce last November, agreed the deal during a five-hour meeting in Los Angeles yesterday.


Kevin Federline is said to be receiving a $1 million payment, with the couple sharing custody of their two sons, 18-month-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, six months.


A spokesman for Kevin Federlins's attorney said:

The parties signed a global agreement on all issues of their marriage and custody of their children.

He refused to elaborate on the terms of the settlement, but revealed they had reached an agreement on financial matters.


A judge must approve the agreement before the divorce is finalised.


The meeting took place in Britney Spears's attorney Laura Wasser's office in California's Century City.

Kevin Federline visited his estranged wife, Britney Spears, in rehab on Friday.


Britney Spears, 25, is currently being treated at Promises in Malibu. A source familiar with the situation says Kevin Federline, 28, has been involved in her stay there.

Britney Spears and Isaac Cohen, both 25, were first spotted together on January 2 powerboating off Marina Del Rey, California, and just one night later they turned up at the W Hotel's Whiskey Blue bar in Westwood.
