Kate Beckinsale wants to write a novel because she thinks her film work is silly.
I'll probably write a novel but not under my own name. I wouldn't want to be a celebrity author. That sounds highly vulgar to me. I wouldn't want anyone buying it because I've been in a couple of silly movies. But I want to keep my brain ticking over.
