Nicole Richie was briefly hospitalized for dehydration Friday after falling ill while filming The Simple Life with her best friend Paris Hilton. Nicole Richie, was examined by a doctor on the set of the E! reality series and then taken to a nearby hospital. She was given intravenous fluids for 15 minutes and then released. Nicole Richie's rep said in a statement:
Nicole is home resting and will return to work this evening,
We are proud of the weight that Nicole is gaining and her focus on her health.
