Brittany Murphy and Joe Macaluso, have broken off their engagement.
The two "have amicably ended their engagement. They remain close friends and wish each other much happiness," a rep for Bittany Murphy told PEOPLE.
This was the second engagement for Brittany Murphy, who was previously set to marry Jeff Kwatinetz.
Brittany Murphy, who's appeared in 8 Mile with Eminem and The Groomsmen with Edward Burns, is currently filming Tinker Bell, an animated film in which she costars with Kristin Chenoweth.
