Country music singer LeAnn Rimes is recovering after undergoing surgery for a serious infection she suffered after tearing the tissue in one of her legs.


LeAnn Rimes has been forced to cancel three upcoming appearances - one today in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, and back-to-back shows on Thursday and Friday in Niagara Falls, Canada, while her leg heals.


Her publicist Diana Baron said:

The surgery went well, and she's absolutely fine.




LeAnn Rimes is expected to resume her performance schedule in Wisconsin on 19 July.
