The Pussycat Dolls caused a stir after arriving for yesterday morning's opening sale at prestigious London department store Harrods in a horse-drawn carriage and posing with real-life cats.

The band, formed by, Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, Melody Thornton and Kimberly Wyatt were greeted by Harrods boss Mohammed Al Fayed and were taken on a tour of the prestigious shop, where they were given half a million pounds worth of jewellery to try on before posing with a litter of kittens.

Singer Jessica Sutta said:

My favourite part was meeting the kittens. All the other girls had kittens that were scratching and biting but mine was really chilled out. A real-life pussycat, just like us.

We're thrilled to be able to wear all of this fancy jewellery. I've never worn anything like it. I'm going to have a word with Mohamed to see if I can keep some of it.
