Lionel Ritchie recently discussed about Nicole Richie and Adam Goldstein getting married, not realising that the couple had split up again for the second time in six months.
The couple said in a statement released by Nicole Richie's publicist, Cindy Guagenti:
We are confirming that we have amicably separated,
The statement continued:
The rumors and speculations as to why we have separated are both false and hurtful,
Current allegations as to why our relationship has changed are completely untrue. We would greatly appreciate our privacy.
