Christina Aguilera will perform tracks from her new album, Back to Basics , two months before it will be relesed at this years MTV Movie Awards.
The show which is hosted by Jessica Alba will be filmed on June 3 at the Sony Picture Studios in California and will go on air on June 8.
Christina last appeared at the MTV Movie Awards in 2001 - with a show-stopping performance of 'Lady Marmalade' with Pink, Lil' Kim and Mya.
Presenters will include Kate Beckinsale, Jamie Foxx, Owen Wilson, Justin Timberlake, Matt Dillon, Will Ferrell, Kate Hudson, Rebecca Romijn, Kate Bosworth and rappers T.I. and Ludacris.
