Katie Holmes has decided to change her name from 'Katie' to 'Kate'.
The actress and fiance Tom Cruise decided that Katie sounded too girlish for a 27 year old so Holmes will now be known as Kate.
Tom Cruise said:
Katie is a young girl's name. Her name is Kate now she's a child-bearing woman.
